Hi there! My name is Frank Caron, and I run the Product team at Reach Financial. Our company makes it easier for everyday Americans to get access to the capital needed to consolidate debt and reach financial freedom.
Last year, our team began to invest heavily in scaling our platform for the next 10 years. As we undertake that journey, we thought it would be a great opportunity to share our experiences, thoughts, and observations on building modern financial technology at scale — not with the intent to resell the technology as a “fin tech”, but rather to use that technology to power a modern financial service business.
This isn’t about the whizz-bang wowza but rather the practical application of the right tools for the right problem at the right time — with cost control, operational risk reduction, and customer experience in mind.
One of the most unique aspects of Reach is that, unlike many traditional “fin-techs”, we’re building a platform that blends Salesforce, AWS, and Snowflake into a singular modern enterprise architecture that deliberately and meticulously reduces the surface area for operational risk by minimizing custom code, maximizing machine learning impact, reducing required SaaS customizations, and simplifying complex data pipelines.
We believe this is what a modern operational system should look like.
